It’s clear workers have options today, and they’re choosing employers that demonstrate empathy and care. Are you doing that?
The end of the year is a great time to express gratitude for your team members. A thank you note, email, or video that shows that you recognize the contribution the person is making can make a huge difference. In fact, studies show that a compliment from the boss is worth more than money in terms of motivation. It doesn’t need to be long or eloquent–just sincere and personal to the individual team member.
